Morabanc Andorra reached a new agreement with center Oliver Stevic to stay together next season, the club announced Saturday. Stevic (2.04 meters, 33 years old) averaged 9.7 points on 61.1% two-point shooting and 4.5 rebounds in 32 Spanish League games last season, helping Andorra reach the playoffs and the Copa del Rey tournament. He started his career with Borac Cacak of his native Serbia and also played for Slask Wroclaw and Stelmet Zielona Gora of Poland, Koper of Slovenia, Crvena Zvezda and Masinac Krajlevo of Serbia, EWE Baskets Oldenburg of Germany, Bilbao Basket and Montakit Fuenlabrada of Spain, Casale Monferrato of Italy and Royal Hali Gaziantep of Turkey. Stevic helped Zielona Gora win the Polish League title in 2013. He has plenty of 7DAYS EuroCup experience, as Stevic played the competition with Slask, Zvezda, Oldenburg and Bilbao, averaging 9.1 points and 5.5 rebounds in 48 games. "He has been a very important player for us and since the end of the season, we knew that keeping him was a priority for us," Andorra general manager Francesc Solana said. "His numbers were remarkable but what he gave to the team in terms of experience and leadersgup was one of the keys to our good results. His experience in European competitions can be very valuable for us."
