Trento re-signs Sutton for two more seasons
Dolomiti Energia Trento and swingman Dominique Sutton have agreed to a new contract that will keep him with the club for two more seasons. Sutton (1.94 meters, 29 years old) split his time last season between Trento, ratiopharm Ulm in Germany and SLUC Nancy in France. He appeared in four 7DAYS EuroCup games for Ulm during which he averaged 7.8 points and 2.5 rebounds. Sutton, who helped Trento reach the 2016 EuroCup Semifinals, returned to Trento in January and posted 15.7 points and 7.0 rebounds in 15 Italian League regular season games and 10.6 points and 5.0 rebounds in the playoffs to help Trento reach the finals. He previously played with Santa Cruz and Tulsa of the D-League, Titanes del Distrito Nacional of the Dominican Republic, Ikaros Kallistheas of Greece and Air21 Express and GlobalPort Batang Pier of the Philippines.
