Luka Bogdanovic EWE Baskets Oldenburg continued its roster shakeup on Sunday when it announced the signing of versatile forward Luka Bogdanovic for the remainder of the season. Bogdanovic (204, 25) takes the place of forward Stevin Smith, who has been released. The move also comes on the heels of a point guard switch, with Eddie Gill coming aboard in place of Nemanja Protic. Bogdanovic arrives from Chorale Roanne, where he began this season and averaged 7 points and 6.5 rebounds in two Eurocup games and 11.1 points and 7.1 rebounds in seven French League appearances. Because he played with Roanne in the Eurocup, Bogdanovic will not be eligible to represent EWE Baskets in the competition until the start of the Last 16 stage.

Bogdanovic spent last season with DKV Joventut, where he averaged 10.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in 12 Eurocup games. He has past Euroleague experience with Le Mans and Partizan too. Bogdanovic averaged 11.1 points on 43.3% three-point shooting in 14 Euroleague games with Le Mans in the 2007-08 season. Bogdanovic also played for Crvena Zvezda in his native Serbia. He helped Partizan to win three consecutive Serbian League titles from 2005 to 2007. Bogdanovic also lifted the Adriatic League trophy with Partizan in 2007. He has also been a member of the Serbian national team.
