Partizan inks rookie point guard Baker
Partizan NIS Belgrade announced on Tuesday a deal that makes playmaker Ian Baker club’s newest member. Baker (1,83 meters, 24 years old) has signed a two-year contract, which will make Partizan the first club in his professional career. Baker earned WAC Conference Player of the Year honors last season for posting 16.7 points, 4.2 assists and 4.2 rebounds for New Mexico State University, where he spent four years. Baker is first reinforcement in Partizan’s backcourt this summer, as the club has earlier brought big men Obrad Tomic and Jamie Skeen.
