Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia added more depth to its roster with the addition of veteran forward Siim Sander Vene, club announced on Wednesday. Vene (2.03 meters, 26 years old) has played last season with Russian squad Nizhny Novgorod, where he averaged 10.6 point, 3.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists as a starter in 7DAYS EuroCup action. Vene is a veteran of three EuroCup seasons, as he previously played in the competition for VEF Riga of Latvia and BC Prienai of Lithuania. He has also spent four seasons playing in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague wearing uniform of the Lithuanian powerhouse Zalgiris Kaunas, club where he grow up after joining it as a teenager. Early in his professional career Vene also played on-loan for Triobet, Aisciai and Baltai, all from Kaunas, as well as German side Ludwigsburg.
