Limoges adds Danny Gibson to backcourt
French squad Limoges CSP keeps preparing its comeback to the 7DAYS EuroCup, as on Tuesday the club announced the arrival of point guard Danny Gibson, to fill in for injured Jean-Baptiste Maille, who will be out long-term due to an ACL injury. Gibson (1.78 meters, 33 years old) arrives from Lukoil Academic of Bulgaria, where last season he was named MVP of the finals, leading the team to the national title, and he averaged 16.8 points and 5.4 assists in 14 games. Gibson is a player with vast experience in Europe, having played in several countries such as Poland, Germany, or The Netherlands, however he will be making his EuroCup debut this season with Limoges.
