BC Oostende tabs Booker for 2 years

Christopher Booker - Krka Novo Mesto (Photo: FIBA Europe / Ciamillo - Castoria)BC Oostende improved its frontcourt for its upcoming Eurocup Qualifying Round series against Norrkoping Dolphins by inking center Christopher Booker until the end of the 2012-13 season, the club announced Monday. Booker (2.08 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Krka Novo Mesto, where he averaged 11.7 points and 5.1 rebounds in 27 Adriatic League games last season. He helped Krka to win the EuroChallenge and Slovenian League titles, as well as reaching the Adriatic League final four. Booker has also played for Energa Czarni Slupsk in Poland, Khimik-OPZ Yuzny in Ukraine, ASU Sports Club in Jordan, Tofas Bursa and Fenerbahce in Turkey and Union Olimpija in Slovenia. He helped Olimpija to win the Slovenian League and the Slovenian Cup titles in 2008. Booker has completed Oostende's roster, that also features Dusan Katnic, Dusan Djordjevic, Dusan Sakota, Stefan Popovski, Quentin Serron, Veselin Petrovic, Yacine Baeri, Khalid Boukichou, Tomas Van den Spiegel, Matt Lojeski and Jason Rich.
