Zenit's Pushkov to sit out full season
As announced on Friday by the club, Zenit St Petersburg's big man Anton Pushkov will miss the upcoming season after having suffered ACL rupture in the knee and meniscus. Pushkov (2.08 meters, 28 years old) will undergo surgery in the upcoming days and is expected to be sidelined for at least 9 months. Pushkov would have started his third season with Zenit, and he was a mamber of the Khimki Moscow Region team that lifted the 7DAYS EuroCup trophy in 2012.
