Reggio Emilia: Vene, out three months

Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia forward Siim-Sander Vene is set to miss the entire 7DAYS EuroCup regular season due to a stress fracture in his right foot, the club announced Friday. Vene had a problem in his right heel right after taking part in the Memorail Bertolazzi tournament in Parma, Italy. Further medical exams confirmed that vene has a stress fracture in his right foot and will need a long recovery, around three months, but his comeback date will only be clear as depending on his own improvement. It is yet to be decided if Vene will undergo therapy in Italy or his home country Estonia. Vene joined Reggio Emilia this summer. He averaged 10.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in 14 EuroCup games with Nizhny Novgorod last season.
