Zvezda brings back big man Ristic

Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade bolstered its frontcourt by inking center Dusan Ristic to a multi-year deal, the club announced Monday. Ristic (2.13 meters, 22 years old) is set to start his professional basketball career with Zvezda. He arrives from the University of Arizona, where he averaged 12 points and 6.9 rebounds in 34 NCAA games last season. Ristic started his career with FMP Zeleznik Belgrade and also played for Radnicki Basket Belgrade before making his EuroLeague debut with Zvezda in the 2013-14 season, playing less than nine minutes in two games and scoring two points. He was chosen to the All-tournament team at the 2012 EuroLeage Junior Tournament played in Istanbul, Turkey, averaging 20.3 points and 12 rebounds in five games. Ristic also helped Serbia win a bronze medal at the 2012 U18 European Championships.
