UNICS, Ndour agree to new deal
UNICS Kazan re-signed power forward Maurice Ndour for one season with an option for 2019-20, the club announced Monday. Ndour (2.06 meters, 26 years old) joined UNICS early last season and posted 5.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in a dozen 7DAYS EuroCup games off the bench. He helped the club reach the EuroCup Quarterfinals. Ndour preformed even better in the VTB League with averages of 10.4 points and 4.7 rebounds over 22 games. He has also played for Real Madrid in Spain, New York in the NBA and Westchester in the D-League. Ndour won the Spanish League title with Madrid in 2016. He is also a member of the Senegalese national team, which he helped to a bronze medal at AfroBasket 2017.
