Turin bolsters frontcourt with Rudd
Fiat Turin added firepower to its roster by signing a one-year deal with big man Victor Rudd, the club announced on Monday. Rudd (2.06 meters, 27 years old) last played for CSKA Moscow, which he joined for the second part of last season. In limited minutes, he posted 2.3 points and 1.2 rebounds, helping the Russian powerhouse reach the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four. Rudd spent the first part of last season with Gaziantep of Turkey, where he averaged 11.0 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists. Rudd now returns to 7DAYS EuroCup for the first time since the 2015-16 season, the first professional of his career, when he played with the Russian squad Nizhny Novgorod and averaged 15.8 points and 6.7 boards in 20 games, leading the team to the competition quarterfinals. In his career, he also spent a season with Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv.
