Banco Di Sardegna Sassari signs Di Liegro at center
Banco Di Sardegna Sassari announced the signing of promising big man Dane Di Liegro for the coming season. Di Liegro (2.04 meters, 24 years old) made his professional debut last season with Domotecnica Ostuni of the Italian second division with whom he averaged 9.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. He played college basketball at the University of New Hampshire and averaged 8.7 points and 8.2 rebounds per game as a senior in 2010-2011. He finished his career for the Wildcats as the school’s second all-time leading rebounder with 637 rebounds.
