Zenit, Jennings part ways

Zenit St. Petersburg announced an agreement with playmaker Brandon Jennings for an early termination of their contract. Jennings (1.85 meters, 29 years old) averaged 9 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists in five 7DAYS EuroCup games this season. He leaves ranked second in the regular season in average assists, with Zenit holding a 4-3 record. Jennings barely missed a triple-double – 20 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists – in his first game in the competition, a home win against Turk Telekom Ankara. He also had a season-high 13 assists in a VTB League game against Enisey Krasnoyarsk. In an official statement, the club has thanked Jennings for his performance and wished him luck in his career in the future.
