| The 2010-2011 academic year of the International Master Program in Sports Management & Marketing, part of the Euroleague Basketball Institute, came to an end with a graduation ceremony at Ca' Foscari University in Venice, Italy on Saturday. The students met for the first time this year at Euroleague headquarters in Barcelona last February and again in May during the 2011 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four at Palau Sant Jordi in the same city. Their third session together was held over three days last week in Venice, where the students had to present their final essays. The three in-person sessions were augmented by course work the entire year that consisted of lessons, case studies, a final project and more. Now, the graduates are ready to transmit take their knowledge into the world of sports management and marketing. The Euroleague Basketball Institute wants to congratulate its students and welcome them as EBI alumni to the Euroleague family. |

OCTOBER 11, 2010 - The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rejected a lawsuit that the Spanish professional league (ACB) filed last January against Euroleague Basketball in reaction to the recent change of structure in Europe's top competition. CAS specified that the claim made against Euroleague Basketball S.L., Euroleague Properties S.A., Euroleague Commercial Assets S.A. and Jordi Bertomeu cannot be judged and therefore must be dropped.
