With 22 of 24 teams ready to start the Turkish Airlines Euroleague season on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, the action will be constant on courts around the continent. Excitement is always high at the start of a new season, for fans and teams alike, with the anticipation palpable in places like Kazan, Russia, where Unics opens the Wednesday action in its first Euroleague game ever, just like Bilbao, Spain, which will be the scene of Friday's last game of Week 1, the first-ever in this competition for host Bizkaia Bilbao Basket. To sort out the new groups playing in the regular season and what might be expected in each, the first Euroleague.net podcast of the season features the Euroleague.TV commentating team, play-by-play announcer Frank Lawlor and color analyst Jiri Zidek. They sat down Tuesday, the morning after broadcasting the opening game won by CSKA over Zalgiris, to consider what fans might watch for as the 2011-12 Turkish Airlines Euroleague takes flight this week!
