MAROUSSI signs forward Stevan Nadjfeji
After losing big man Levon Kendall long term on Wednesday with an ankle injury, Maroussi turned around and signed forward Stevan Nadjfeji to a two-month contract to help fill the void. Nadjfeji (30, 202) is a veteran of Greek League basketball and arrives from Panellinios Athens, where he averaged 9.6 points and 3.4 rebounds in the Eurocup last season. Maroussi will be his first Euroleague club since he suited up for Partizan Belgrade during the 2001-02 season. He has also played for AGO Rethimno in Greece as well as KK Beobanka Belgrade, KK Radnicki CIP Beograd and Usce Belgrade in his native Serbia, Ural Great Perm and Unics Kazan in Russia and RBC Verviers-Pepinster in Belgium.
