CIBONA welcomes Mario Delas
Mario Delas - ZalgirisAs announced by the teams on Monday, center Mario Delas (207, 20) was sent on loan from Zalgiris to Cibona for the next season. Delas made his Euroleague debut last season with Zalgiris as he took part in six Euroleague games averaging 4.5 points and 2.2 rebounds in almost 14 minutes per game. With this move, Delas is back to his native Croatia, where he grew up and made his debut with KK Split, until January of 2010, when he was signed by Zalgiris in time to win the 2009-10 Baltic League title. Delas is a strong Croatian prospect and he has been a member of the inferior national teams for several years now, taking also several medals in different continental competitions.
