UNICAJA lands rookie swingman Baptist
Billy BaptistUnicaja fortified its roster with the signing of rookie swingman Billy Baptist, who had been on trial with the team for several weeks. Baptist (196, 23) played college basketball at Quincy University, where he was named to the Great Lakes Valley All-Conference First Team last season after averaging 15.5 points and 7.6 rebounds in 32 games. Baptist also played junior college basketball at Illinois Central College.
