Czech National Cup final: March 18, 2007
CEZ Basketball Nymburk lifted the Czech National Cup for the third time in four years by beating NH Ostrava 81-63 in the finale game. Monty Mack was named the MVP of the title game after scoring 28 points to lead Nymburk. With a 30-1 record, the defending champions are now favorites to sweep the season's titles. Radoslav Rancik added 13 and Ladislav Sokolovsky 12 for the winners, while Jaroslav Prasil contributed 21 for Ostrava. Nymburk built a comfortable 22-13 cushion after 10 minutes, extended it to 43-30 at halftime and then controlled the situation the rest of the way before celebrating with its fans. In the third place game, BK Prostejov beat BK Lieberec 73-59. Nymburk reached the finals by topping BK Prostejov 67-84 in the semis behind Darius Washington's 22 points. NH Ostrava topped BK Liiberec 83-69 in the other semifinal as Lukas Prochazka scored 19.
