Czech League, Game 5: October 25, 2006
CEZ Basketball Nymburk is the only unbeaten team in the Czech League after 5 games. Nymburk downed BK Kondori Liberec 82-63 at home behind 24 points on 9-for-12 shooting from Guillermo Diaz. Radoslav Rancik added 19 points in an easy win for Nymburk, which handed Liberec its first loss of the season. Synthesia Pardubice now ties for the second place at 4-1 by thrashing BK Sadska 90-61 at home on Wednesday. Rahsaan Ames led the winners with 24 points while Jiri Nobotny added 14 for Synthesia. USK Praha provided the upset of the week by beating BK Prostejov 76-75 at home behind 22 points from Muris Andelija. Praha improved to 4-1, as well as BK Decin, which beat BBK 92-66 with Levell Sanders leading all scorers with 22 points. In other games, A Plus ZS Brno BC beat BK Usti nad Labem 83-67 while NH Ostrava edged Mlekarna Kunín 64-71 on the road.
