Czech League, Game 6: October 28-29, 2006
CEZ Nymburk remained unbeaten atop the Czech League with its sixth consecutive win, 89-79, over Synthesia Pardubice on Saturday. The defending champs went up 47-37 at halftime and increased the lead to 71-58 after 30 minutes. Nymburk got 21 points apiece from Guillermo Diaz and Ladislav Sokolovsky. Diaz added 7 assists and Sokolovsky 8 rebounds, while Stanislav Votroubek was good for 16 points and 9 boards. Rahsaan Ames led Pardubice with 25 points and 6 assists. BK Decin thrashed BK Sadska on the road 63-82 to keep a share of second place. Levell Sanders scored 21 points and Jakub Houska 18 for Decin, which improved to 5-1. In other games, BK Prostejov topped 87-71 Mlekarna Kunin, BK Usti nad Labem defeated USK Prague 106-99 behind 30 from Damien Argrett. A Plus ZS Brno BC scored a 69-102 road win at BBK with David Machac leading five scorers in double figure with 26. On Sunday, Robert Tomaszek had 17 points and 8 rebounds to lead BK Kondori Liberec over NH Ostrava 76-67. The win saw Liberec improve to 5-1.
