CEZ Basketball Nymburk outlasted BK Prostejov in overtime on the road 84-89 Sunday to improve to 12-1 in the Czech League. Guillermo Diaz led five Nymburk scorers in double figures with 24 points and 5 assists. The defending champion led by 10 points after 10 minutes and was up 38-47 at halftime, but Prostejov, which entered the game tied for second place, slowly climbed back throughout the second half to tie the game and force the extra period. But once there, Nymburk's depth was too much for the hosts. Nymburk, which maintained a two-game lead over second-placed BK Decin, got 18 from Radoslav Rancik and 12 from Stanislav Votroubek. Cameron Crisp had 19 in defeat. Decin recorded a thrilling 84-85 away win over Mlekarna Kunin to raise its record to 10-3. Peter Mulligan led the way with 34 and Levell Sanders added 15. BK Liberec defeated Brnensky BK 69-75 behind 19 points from Robert Tomaszek. BK Usti nad Labem thrashed BK Sadska 99-60 as Damien Argrett tallied 27 points, and NH Ostrava outlasted BK Synthesia Pardubice 94-71 with Jaroslav Prasil scoring 27.
