The head coach: Fotis Katsikaris

 At age 40, Fotis Katsikaris is making a name for himself as one of the best young coaches in European basketball. A little-known playmaker in the 1990s, Katsikaris played for Greek teams like Sporting, Ionikos, AEK and Iraklio before retiring in 1998 to join AEK's coaching staff. Katsikaris was AEK's assistant coach for five full seasons, learning from some of the best bosses in European basketball, such as Dusan Ivkovic and Dragan Sakota. Katsikaris was promoted to head coach before the start of the 2003-04 season and he soon delivered, helping the team to make it to the Euroleague Top 16 and the Greek League finals in 2005. Next, Katsikaris joined Dynamo St. Petersburg in Russia. He led Dynamo to the semifinals of both the 2006 FIBA EuroCup and the Russian League playoffs. Katsikaris joined Pamesa midway through the 2006-07 season and immediately made an impact by marching the team into Spanish League for the first time in three springs. Not shy of setting his sights high, Katsikaris arrives in Turin with the one goal only - to lift his first ULEB Cup trophy and Pamesa's second.
