Pamesa gets center Barac on loan
Stanko Barac (FIBA Europe/Castoria/S. Silvestri) Pamesa Valencia has agreed with Tau Ceramic on terms to acquire promising center Stanko Barac on loan for the remainder of the season. Barac (217, 21) signed a five-year deal with Tau this summer, but after seeing that he would not get meaningful minutes with the club this season, it was decided that both sides would benefit from a loan move. Last season he played for Siroki Prima pivo in his native Bosnia, where he posted 13 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game in 26 Adriatic League appearances. Barac represented Croatia this summer at the EuroBasket in Spain, averaging 5.4 points and 4.1 rebounds in seven games.
