Red Star locks Dragicevic up till 2010
Red Star Belgrade announced Wednesday that power forward Tadija Dragicevic has extended his contract with the club through 2010. Dragicevic (2.05, 21) is already one of the youngest captains in club's history. He came to Red Star in 2002 and soon became member of the Serbian junior national teams. He helped Serbia win gold at the Under-20 European championships in 2006 in Turkey. Dragicevic has been won of Red Star's top players so far this season, averaging 20.5 points per game in the Adriatic League. "Red Star is my club and my home too," Dragicevic said after signing. "We needed little time to deal with the contract extension and I am very satisfied. I want to give my maximum contribution with a cool head."
