Khimki gets playmaker Milt Palacio
Milt Palacio BC Khimki has started to get ready for the 2008-09 ULEB Cup season by signing playmaker Milt Palacio to a two-year deal, the club announced on Monday night. Palacio (190, 30) arrives from Partizan Igokea, where he averaged 12.5 points and 3.3 assists in 23 Euroleague games last season. Palacio helped Partizan to win the Adriatic League and reach the Euroleague Quarterfinal Playoffs, earning March MVP honors in the process. Palacio will lead Partizan in the Serbian League finals against Hemofarm Stada this week. Palacio previously played most of his professional career in North America, taking part in 470 games in the NBA for the Vancouver Grizzlies, Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Toronto Raports and Utah Jazz.
