Artland adds guard Flavio Stuckemann
Flavio Stuckemann After signing Zach Whiting to take over the starting point guard duties, the Artland Dragons added Flavio Stuckemann to give them depth at the position. Stuckemann (190, 23), who arrives from New Yorker phantoms Braunschweig, signed for one season with the Dragons. Born in Brazil, Stuckemann has played his entire career in Germany, beginning with a spell at Artland’s farm team, TSV Quakenbruck, in 2002. The next year he moved to Braunschweig, where he would spend the next four season playing for the club’s junior team, farm team and senior squad. Last season Stuckemann took part in 17 games as a reserve in the German League. He played a further 20 games for Spot Up Medien Baskets Braunschweig in the German ProB league, where he averaged 11.4 points and 4.7 assists per game.
