Artland, Lamont McIntosh agree to extension

 The Artland Dragons are working hard to finish their roster for the upcoming season. On Monday they announced that guard Lamont McIntosh has re-signed with the club for another year. McIntosh (189, 26) originally signed with Artland in the summer of 2006. He was a key member of last season’s squad, which reached the ULEB Cup Last 16, won the German Cup and finished with the second-best record in the German League. He averaged 9.2 points while starting all 14 of the team’s ULEB Cup games and 11.2 points in 34 German League games, but was even more important as a lock-down defender. McIntosh had previously played for the Scottish Rocks in the British League and Pepinster in Belgium after a college career at Georgia State.
