Artland adds big man Darren Fenn
Darren Fenn The Artland Dragons have shored up their frontcourt for the coming season with the addition of big man Darren Fenn, who penned a two-year deal to play in Quakenbruck. Fenn (206, 28) arrives from Brose Baskets Bamberg, with whom he played in the Euroleague last season and won the German championship the year before. He averaged 9.6 points and 4.4 rebounds over 24 minutes in 14 Euroleague games and 11.3 points and 5.9 rebounds over 25 minutes in the German League. Fenn takes the place of Adam Chubb, who left Artland for Alba Berlin earlier this summer. Fenn's best individual season came in 2005-06, his first in Germany, when he averaged 18.4 points and 8 rebounds for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven. The veteran has also suited up for Limoges in France, Vilvoorde in Belgium, Ural Great in Russia, Bosna Sarajevo in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Trepca Mitrovice in Kosovo.
