Artland adds rookie guard Drew Neitzel

The Artland Dragons' roster continues to take shape. On Wednesday the club added rookie point guard Drew Neitzel, who comes from Michigan State University. Neitzel (185, 23) will begin his professional career in Quakenbruck after an outstanding four-year college period. Neitzel averaged 13.9 points and 4 assists per game for the Spartans last season and leaves the school ranked fourth all-time in assists (582) and third in three-pointers made (273). He was named a first-team All-Big Ten Conference selection in each of the last two seasons. Last summer Neitzel was a member of the USA Pan American Games Team.
