BC Triumph tabs forward Alan Anderson
BC Triumph Lyubertsy added an important piece to its squad over the weekend with the signing of small forward Alan Anderson, who was last with Virtus Bologna in Italy. Anderson (198, 26) averaged 11.2 points in nine Euroleague games and 14.4 points and 5 rebounds in 28 Italian League games last season – his first in Europe. He had an impressive Euroleague debut with 28 points in 28 minutes off the bench in Week 1 last season. Anderson played college basketball at Michigan State University, where he played in an NCAA Final Four. After finishing his college basketball career, Anderson spent parts of two seasons with Charlotte in the NBA before heading to Bologna.
