Maroussi also brings in Slay
Maroussi BC keeps reinforcing its roster for the 2010-11 Euroleague Qualifying Rounds by inking power forward Ronald Slay, who agreed terms on a one season deal. Slay (203, 29) played college basketball for the University of Tennessee, where he got the nickname Baby Barkley. He averaged 21.2 points, 7.8 points and 2.1 assists in his last season and began his professional career in Turkey with Galatasaray. Since then Sley played for Cocodrilos de Caracas in Venezuela, Ashville in NBDL, Maccabi Givat Shmuel in Israel, while in 2006 he moved to Italy, to join Casale Monferrato in the second division. Her made an interval to join Grises de Humacao in Puerto Rico and returned in Italy to play first for Caserta and then for Varese, where he averaged 15.4 points and 7.6 boards during the 2009-10 season.
