"Everybody saw Perkins' abilities last season and I am very happy he is staying with us," head Coach David Blatt said. "Perkins and Jeremy Pargo complement each other and can play together. They give us an exceptional athletic backcourt with two strong guards who like to attack the rim and play great defense. Perkins the sixth player we keep from last season and it is great that half of the team is staying for the second year in a row. With the new players we signed, all very highly motivated, I am sure we will have a great team."
