The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague leader CSKA Moscow announced on Saturday the extension of contract with forward Victor Rudd, who will remain with the team until the end of the season. Rudd (2.02 meters) who turns 27 years of age on Sunday, arrived to CSKA a month ago, and has appeared in four games in limited minutes, totaling 6 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals. “Victor proved that he is able to help our team, I wish him to stay healthy as to all other players”, said CSKA head coach Dimitris Itoudis. “Now he is a part of CSKA, he is another player who is called to help accomplish our goals.” Rudd played first part of the season with Gaziantep of Turkey, and averaged 11.0 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 16 games. Last season, Rudd played with Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv in all 30 regular season games, 20 of them as a starter, averaging 10.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists. He previously led the Russian squad Nizhny Novgorod reach 7DAYS EuroCup quarterfinals in 2015-16, and played for Delaware in the NBA G League.
