Play bwin Euroleague Fantasy Challenge!The 2011-12 bwin Euroleague Fantasy Challenge has a new weekly winner! Iker Etxebarria Gurrea of Spain beat every other team in the competition by scoring 224.4 points in Top 16 Game 1! His team, Carles Ruf, was at least 8.9 points better than anyone else and can claim the weekly prize, an official Euroleague basketball. The next deadline is on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 25, 2012 at 17:00 CET, 15 minutes before the start of Top 16 Game 2's first game, CSKA Moscow vs. Anadolu Efes. THREE TRADES will be allowed each week until the end of the Top 16!

GROUP E
Olympiacos Basketball
- Olympiacos announced on Tuesday the termination of its contract with point guard Kalin Lucas. The Reds now have 14 players, which means that two must be left out of each game. Last week Marko Keselj and Dimitrios Katsivelis didn't play.
CSKA Moscow
- CSKA has all of its 15 players available, so three will be sitting out. Last week, Sammy Mejia, Nikita Kurbanov and Dmitry Sokolov did not play for CSKA last week.
Anadolu Efes
- Kerem Gonlum remains sidelined. Other than him, Efes has a full team ready to face CSKA.
Galatasaray
- Galatasaray signed Boris Savovic, who has yet to make an appearance.
- Galatasaray sat Tutku Acik and Sertac Sanli last week to meet roster requirements.
GROUP F
Montepaschi Siena
- Montepaschi is without injured starters Ksistof Lavrinovic and Rimas Kaukenas. Lavrinovic, however, travelled with his team to Madrid and may return this week.
Gescrap BB
- Gescrap’s Janis Blums will not play against Unicaja due to injury, the club announced.
Unicaja
- Tremmell Darden will be out for at least 2 more weeks due to a broken hand.
- Joel Freeland has recovered from his ankle injury and travelled to Bilbao, but he is not expected to play.
- Mark Payne and Kristaps Valters are questionable for the game against Gescrap BB.
- Alex Abrines returned to action and is ready to play in Bilbao.
Real Madrid
- Nikola Mirotic is doubtful against Montepaschi due to a severely sprained ankle. He rejoined his team's practice but whether he plays or not will be a game-time decision.
GROUP G
Unics Kazan
- Unics signed versatile forward Bostjan Nachbar, who should make his Euroleague return this week.
Fenerbahce Ulker
- Mirsad Turkcan returned to action during the holiday break but has not played in the 2011-12 Euroleague yet.
- Roko Ukic is set to miss at least another Top 16 game due to a broken finger.
EA7 - Emporio Armani Milano
- Malik Hairston stays sidelined after undergoing surgery on his left Achilles' tendon.
Panathinaikos
- Panathinaikos has a full roster available. Dimitris Diamantidis sat out in a Greek League game this weekend but will return against Unics.
GROUP H
Zalgiris Kaunas
- Zalgiris has all its players ready for the game against Bennet Cantu.
Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv
- Maccabi is without small forward Guy Pnini, who has a calf muscle problem.
FC Barcelona Regal
- Barcelona great Juan Carlos Navarro, the Euroleague's top all-time scorer, has returned to action this weekend and will play in Tel Aviv.
NGC Bennet Cantu
- Other than Marko Scekic, Cantu has a full team available against Zalgiris.
