Cholet signs Everett, releases Uzoh
Terrell Everett (Photo: Antoine Muzard/Elan Chalon)Cholet Basket shook up its backcourt by releasing guard Ben Uzoh and replacing him with Terrell Everett, who is a veteran of the French League. Uzoh first signed with Cholet in mid-August, but will now look for a new home. Everett (1.93 meters, 28 years old) arrives from German club Eisbaeren Bremerhaven, where he spent the past season and a half. He averaged 11.3 points and 4.9 assists last season. Everett made his professional debut in France with Elan Chalon Saone back in 2006. He has also played for JDA Dijon and Hyeres-Toulon plus a second stint at Chalon. Outside of France, Everett suited up for CEZ Nymburk in the Czech Republic, Iraklis BC in Greece, Cibona Zagreb in Croatia and Tulsa and Bakersfield in the NBA D-League.

Cholet also announced that guard A.J. Slaughter will miss several week after surgery for appendicitis.
