"We tried to control the game and do what we had in mind, we played a great defensive game. But of course, we are human, we make some mistakes. But we kept a Euroleague-level team at 73 points, we forced them to shoot at 35% and that was a great effort we had. We were not as good in offense, because it's difficult to succeed like that in defense and then be fresh in offense. This game will help young players in the team to improve, and make them believe you can take these games with the mind and not only with the body and the shots. I am sad also because of all the fans that came here and deserved this cup, that is the worst part. We tried to cut turnovers and we ended with only 9, we focused on this, but we played against a very big team and it's normal that they take more rebounds. I think that the 9-meter triple by Kubrakov was the key of the game. It tied the game at 48-48 and it was a turning point for us, because we had good defense for all the play and he made it in the last second of possession."

"Well, they made the big shots in the end and even though we stayed together they managed to pull away. Our long shots didn't go in tonight and theirs did and that's what made the difference in the end. Our gameplan was to keep them below the average and we succeeded in doing that at 73 points, but of course, we had a game below average ourselves and they took the title."

"Everyone worked for shots, and it came down to the end of the game, and they made some big shots that was the main difference. It happens some times, we played together with good defense but didn't make enough plays down the stretch. The fans were amazing they helped us out a lot and are really our sixth player. They helped us throughout the year and hopefully will be there until the end of the season."

"The basket was too small for us tonight. They deserve the win, they came out, played like a team, made the shots and they won the game. And if they play smart and play together they will win every time. Popovic helped them tonight, he made the big shots and helped them push the lead in the second half. "Dynamo played more or less like we expected, but maybe the guards surprised us, like Popovic. He did a great job but so did we. We kept them at 73 points and that was very good for us. "First I'll say that I think that we deserved this victory, even if maybe our level in this final was not with the games we played during the regular season. I think that our opponent Aris played very tough, their defense was at a high level, isolating our big man Papadopoulos, who is very important for us and was kept at two points in the first half. Our start of the game and third quarter wasn't our usual level. I think we played team basketball under the biggest pressure. It was difficult for my players as Aris had great support from its fans. We then controlled the game in the second half and the last quarter. After January 3, when our guard Popovic was injured, we missed an important player but until now he helped us a lot in preparing this game as Aris has a very important guardline. I want to congratulate everyone in the Dynamo club, especially my players and my staff. And also our fans who came from as far as Moscow. I am very happy tonight but tomorrow will be a different day and we have a lot of work ahead of us this season."

"I feel wonderful. We were trying for this moment from the beginning of the season, and it was a long, hard way, but we made it. We played our game from the beginning to end. They started the game trying to foul me in the first half, but I knew we could take advantage of that later on. As the time grew, so did their foul trouble and tiredness. "In the first half, we weren't in our regular rhythm because they had prepared a great defense against use and were stopping all our plays. We had to play offense in another way, but we were able to do that, and once we did, took it the rest of the way. We were focused on the road all season against all kinds of fans, and then just continue to the end, when we just explode and take the game. And that's what we did tonight. It was hard when a lot of people were saying in the preseason that we favorites, but we just had to show it in every game. We had the pressure on our backs, but we remained under control and took it all."

"These two months were very hard for me without practice because of my injury. Everybody was with me: my friends, my coaches, doctors, my president and everyone from the club. I had very good support and I know I must come back and I think this is a good way to do it. I had to play good defense to our their main players like Castle or Brewer, I tried to do it, but I got some open shots, I made them, and also some free throws. In a game like this, you never know what's going to happen. I expected a perfomance - maybe in some dreams - but I expected to win."

"We were here to win the championship, we worked very hard to win it and here we are. We can take a breath of fresh air now. We only lost two games all in the ULEB Cup season, which was great for us. You can't say more than that. We have a great group of guys. We are all professional, experienced players and we all want to win. With this hunger to win and this competitiveness, we brought it together and we got the championship. We buckled down on defense and we limited our turnovers at the end of the game, and that's what helped us in the second half."
