Lietuvos Rytas shined brightest among a list of big names as it became the first two-time Eurocup champion. L. Rytas recorded an impressive come-from-behind win over BC Khimki Moscow Region in the title game behind Marijonas Petravicius, who earned Final Eight MVP honors. The exciting title game came at the end of a long weekend of basketball highlights in which each and every game was decided by fewer than 10 points. Hemofarm Stada and L. Rytas started the action with quarterfinals wins on Thursday. Khimki and iurbentia Bilbao matched them on Friday. Saturday’s semis both featured drama in the closing minutes before L. Rytas and Khimki prevailed. In the final, L. Rytas came back from 12 down with a 17-0 run to win the title.
