Alba Berlin tabs Goran Nikolic
Goran Nikolic At the tail end of a busy week of signings, Alba Berlin announced another addition to its frontcourt. After brings in Goran Jeretin and Patrick Femerling, Alba confirmed on Friday that big man Goran Nikolic (205, 31) signed a one-year deal with an option for a second season. Nikolic arrives from Estudiantes in Spain, where he averaged 8.3 points and 3.2 rebounds in 32 games last year. He started his career back in 1997 with FMP Zeleznik and played there until 2003, when he moved to Turkey to sign with Efes Pilsen. After two years there he moved to Ukraine to play two seasons with Kiev, before moving to Spain.
