Gran Canaria borrows big man Moncasi
Albert Moncasi - CB Gran Canaria CB Gran Canaria, which will play the Eurocup's second qualifying round, added depth to its frontcourt by signing big man Albert Moncasi, who arrives on loan from fellow Spanish club F.C. Barcelona. Moncasi (210, 22) debuted in the Euroleague with one brief appearance for Barcelona in the 2006-07 season. Last season he played 4 games total in the Euroleague for Barcelona, averaging 4 points, 2 rebounds and a steal in just 10 minutes per game. He also played sparingly in 17 Spanish League games with averages of 1.2 points and 1.2 rebounds.
