Red Star adds prospect Sepa, two others
Red Star Belgrade made three signings over the weekend as the squad for the coming season continues to take form. The club added center Stevan Milosevic and power forward Nemanja Bjelica for the coming season and penned a four-year deal with top prospect Filip Sepa. Milosevic (211, 23) arrives from Buducnost, where he has spent his entire career spare some time on loan in Austria with Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions last year. He averaged 10.6 points and 6.3 rebounds in 21 appearances last season. Bjelica (206, 20) was a teammate of Milosevic’s last season at Traiskirchen where he averaged 8.5 points and 4.9 boards in 26 Austrian League games. He is a former member of the Serbian Under-18 national team. Sepa (196, 18) was the star of the Serbian team at this summer’s European U18 championships in Greece, where he averaged 16.3 points and 2.3 assists in eight games. He is a product of the Partizan Belgrade youth academy.
