Group L boasts plenty of balance at the start of the Last 16, with four clubs that can only be called veterans of the competition, having combined for 20 Eurocup seasons among them. Three of teams - Gran Canaria 2014, CEZ Nymburk and Turk Telekom - are trying to rewrite their own history by registering their best results ever in European club competitions. Meanwhile, Crvena Zvezda won the Cup Winners' Cup trophy in 1974 and is hoping to use it as an inspiration in its current Eurocup run. Zvezda ranks high in points (83 ppg.), index ranking (87.2 per game) and least turnovers (13.2 per game). Gran Canaria is the third-best defense in the competition (69.3 ppg.) and ranks fifth in rebounds (209) but is next-to-last in three-point percentage (29%). Speaking on defense, Nymburk has the best one in the competition so far (67.5 ppg.) but also ranks last in total rebounds (168). Nymburk is already the first Czech team to make it to the Eurocup Last 16 - but is expecting to reach even higher, backed by thousands of diehard fans. Telekom is right behind Nymburk (179) in total rebounds among Last 16 qualifiers. It leads all Last 16 teams in free throw percentage (81.9%) and is second in assists (105) and three-point accuracy (45.2%)
