CRVENA ZVEZDA inks Strahinja Dragicevic

Crvena Zvezda signed forward Strahinja Dragicevic, the twin brother of star and team captain Tadija Dragicevic, for the 2009-10 season. Strahinja Dragicevic (203, 23) was already in uniform for Tuesday’s Adriatic League game, though he did not play. Strahinja Dragicevic played for Serbian side Mega Hypo Leasing last season, averaging 13 points and 4.6 rebounds in eight Balkan League games and 10.1 points and 4.4 boards in the Serbian league. He began his career in the Partizan youth ranks before joining Mega Hypo Leasing.
"I'm glad it all ended in the best possible way," Strahinja Dragicevic said. "I've trained with the red and white, I know the system and it will not be problem to fit. I was looking for a challenge and I believe that in time all will work out."
