PGE TUROW signs Thompson, Wallace
TJ Thompson joins PGE Turow One week after bringing aboard a new head coach, PGE Turow Zgorzelec has added to its roster by signing playmaker T.J. Thompson and power forward Brandon Wallace. Thompson (178, 27) played for STB Le Havre of the Le Havre for the past two seasons. Last year he averaged 18.1 points and 5.9 assists per game in the French League and 16.8 points and 4.3 assists in the Eurocup. Thompson previously played for Hyeres-Toulon in France as well as clubs in Puerto Rico, Mexico and the United States after finishing his college basketball career at George Washington University, where he led his team in scoring as a senior.

Wallace (206, 24) arrives from Hapoel Holon of the Israeli League, where he averaged 5.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game in six appearances this season. He has experience in the Polish League after playing under new Turow head coach Andrej Urlap for Basket Kwidzyn last season. Wallace also played for Utah, Iowa and Los Angeles in the NBDL before coming to Europe. He played college basketball at the University of South Carolina, where he holds the school record for blocked shots. Wallace has already debuted for Turow, posting 7 points in Saturday's Polish League win over Znicz. He is expected to make his Eurocup debut on Tuesday against Panellinios.
