Karim Souchu, Terrell Everett and Edwin Ubiles round a deep, strong team that may surprise some Eurocup fans in this 2012-13 season.

Ratiopharm Ulm
ratiopharm UlmNot your average Eurocup newcomer, Ratiopharm Ulm steps into the competition with high ambition and talented players in all positions. Center John Bryant, off-guard Allan Ray and sharp shooter Lance Jeter are set to lead the team in its initial goal to reach the Last 16. Center Daniel Theis, experienced guard Philipp Schwethelm and playmaker Per Gunther will offer a helping hand. Ulm has a great fan base and every Eurocup game on its home court is set to be a basketball celebration.

BC Spartak SPB general manager Alexei Karvanen: "I think this is a pretty good group for us. The travelling is not bad and some other groups are much more complicated than ours. Of course this is basketball and anything can happen. We will look forward to making it to the Last 16. We would like to take a step forward this year and try to get to the final game, win the competition and be in the Euroleague. That's our ultimate goal. We are waiting for the grand opening of a new arena, there are works in progress but we hope to move there by the new year."

KK Cibona team manager Domagog Kavlovic:
"On the one hand it's a good group, especially when you see some of the others, like Group E. It' slots of trouble for us and we'll see how it goes. Of course, our initial goal is trying for the Last 16 and I think that in this group that is a goal that we can fight for."
