Lietuvos Rytas added depth to its backcourt by signing point guard Adas Juskevicius to a two-year contract. Juskevicius (1.94 meters, 25 years old) reunites with head coach Virgnijus Seskus after the two were together with Rudupis Prienai from 2010 until 2012. Last season Juskevicius played with Eisbaren Bremerhaven in Germany, where he averaged 9.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists. He is a product of Zalgiris Kaunas system, and he was playing for the Rytas's great archrival intermittently from 2008 until 2013. He made his Euroleague debut in 2009-10, and has helped Zalgiris to the Baltic League title that season, while in 2012-13 he helped Zalgirid to a Lithuanian League title. Juskevicius spent 2008-09 on loan with BC Kaunas Triobet, before spending two seasons on loan with Rudupis.
