PAOK re-signs Charalampidis, Dedas

PAOK Thessaloniki is working towards retaining the core of players from last season as it announced on a couple of re-signings with veteran guard Kostas Charalampidis and veteran forward Georgios Dedas. Charalampidis (1.89 meters, 38 years old) started in all 10 regular season games he played with PAOK in the Eurocup last season. He averaged 9.2 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists, having a season high against Buducnost VOLI Podorica with 21 points. This will be Charalampidis' sixth Eurocup participation since he made his debut in the competition with Makedonikos BK in 2004-05, as he reached the title game, falling to Lietuvos Rytas. He has also played in other Greek teams in the Eurocup like Maroussi, Panellinios and Aris BSA. Dedas (2.00 meters, 34 years old) played 10 Eurocup regular season games last season averaging 4.2 points. He arrived in PAOK in 2012 for a second stint with the team after both had been together also in 2010-11 also taking part in the Eurocup. Dedas will stay in PAOK until 2016.
