Partizan re-signs team captain Milosavljevic
Aug 05, 2014
Seven months after his season ended due to injury, team captain Dragan Milosavljevic has re-signed with Partizan NIS Belgrade to play in their first Eurocup season together. Milosavljevic (1.98 meters, 25 years old) was enjoying the best of his four Turkish Airlines Euroleague seasons with Partizan when he tore his anterior cruciate knee ligament against eventual champions Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv in late January. Through 14 games, he was averaging 12.1 points and 3.9 rebounds and had set six Eurleague career-bests earlier last season. Milosavljevic had previously worked his way up each season with scoring increases from 4.2 to 8.2 to 9.9 points per game, ranking second in minutes per game (32) last season. In his 50 Euroleague games with Partizan, Milosavljevic has accumulated 418 points and 148 rebounds. He has helped Partizan four consecutive Serbian League titles, as well as lifting the Adriatic League trophy in 2011 and 2013. Milosavljevic also won the Radivoj Korac Serbian Cup in 2011 and 2012. Milosavljevic has also played for Radnicki Kragujevac and Napredak Rubin Krusevac, as well as being a member of the Serbian national team.
