Baloncesto Seville re-signs Urtasun

Baloncesto Seville reached a new agreement with shooting guard Alex Urtasun to keep him in the team next season. Urtasun (1.93 meters, 30 years old) averaged 4.4 points and a steal in 14 Spanish League games last season. He buried a three-pointer to secure Cajasol's only Spanish League playoffs win since 2010. Urtasun, whose twin brother Txemi will play the 2014-15 Eurocup with Herbalife Gran Canaria, has also played for Siglo XXI Pais Vasco, Ceramica Leoni Castellon, Leon Caja España, Pamesa Valencia, Plus Pujol Lleida, Alerta Cantabria Lobos, Gipuzkoa Basket, Lucentum Alicante and Planasa Navarra of Spain. He played two Eurocup seasons with Valencia, helping it reach the semifinals in 2005 and the quarterfinals in 2008. Urtasun has also been a member of the Spanish U20 national team.
